FINISHERS
David Mullins (Rule The World, winner)
"It's unbelievable. I just couldn't expect things to have gone better.
"There was one little mishap at the fourth-last, but thank god I came out (the other side). Everything went to plan really.
"That's the best ride I've ever got off a horse and it's the best feeling to come back into a place like this. It was just brilliant."
David Bass (The Last Samuri, second)
"He's run an absolute blinder. I can't fault the horse, he's as brave as a lion. I'm just gutted to finish second.
"He travelled, he jumped, we fought off the third horse and it's just gutting to be beaten by one.
"I thought going to the elbow that if we just kept going we might finish with a wet sail. Anyway, hopefully next year."
Robbie Dunne (Vics Canvas, third)
"The race went as well as I could have hoped, apart from a mistake at Becher's first time.
"It took him a while to get his confidence back. I just had to creep, creep away. I was fairly sure coming to the elbow that I was going to win, so it was a bit disappointing."
Robbie Power (Gilgamboa, fourth)
"It's his first time over that trip. He made one mistake early on, but otherwise jumped super. I had a fantastic spin.
"I was struggling turning in, and they got away from me, and no, I didn't think I could win from that point."
Jonathan Burke (Goonyella, fifth)
"The more it rained beforehand the happier I was as he loves a bit of cut, but we had a lot to do turning in.
"From four out I thought we were going to get close, but he gave his all and ran a blinder."
James Reveley (Vieux Lion Rouge, seventh)
"He jumped like a buck and got a great run round. He was going well enough three out but he just didn't stay."
Davy Russell (Morning Assembly, eighth)
"I got a great ride. He jumped so well he got me in a false position after the third-last. I was trying to fill him up, but it just wasn't to be."
Barry Geraghty (Shutthefrontdoor, ninth)
"He ran a great race. He jumped and travelled, he just wasn't good enough on the day."
Nick Scholfield (Unioniste, 10th)
"Unfortunately halfway round he was hit quite badly and had to get his confidence after that."
Harry Skelton (Le Reve, 11th)
"It was brilliant as he enjoyed every fence and really took to the race."
Paul Moloney (Buywise, 12th)
"The ground was too soft and the trip found him out."
Aidan Coleman (Pendra, 13th)
"He jumped well but just didn't get home in the ground."
Jeremiah McGrath (Triolo D'Alene, 14th)
"That was great. I popped round on my first attempt so I'm very happy. We knew he wouldn't like the ground, so I rode him accordingly."
Leighton Aspell (Many Clouds, 16th)
"It was possibly the ground that found us out as it was quite tough out there. I thought I would get further before the going became an issue."
NON-FINISHERS
Nina Carberry (Sir Des Champs, unseated 15th)
"His confidence kind of went just before it. The two beforehand he got underneath them and was slowly away.
"I probably shouldn't have asked him, but he put down and went straight into The Chair. It didn't happen, but he's grand and that's the main thing."
Denis O'Regan (The Druids Nephew, pulled up before 21st)
"I had a super ride but he just didn't go on the ground."
Noel Fehily (Silviniaco Conti, pulled up before 14th)
"He stopped very quickly in that ground."
Ryan Hatch (Double Ross, pulled up before 26th)
"He travelled and jumped well and was still in there when the tack went after jumping the Canal Turn second time."
Sam Twiston-Davies (Wonderful Charm, pulled up before 21st)
"He jumped really well. It was probably just a bit soft for him. He'll be back next year."
Tom Scudamore (Ballynagour, unseated 19th)
"I had a good ride, but he made a mistake at the ditch. I would have got away with it at any other fence."
Mark Walsh (Gallant Oscar, unseated 18th)
"I was still going well. He just got in too tight and I went straight over his head."
Sam Waley-Cohen (Black Thunder, pulled up before 21st)
"He was going well for a time. He just got very tired and then the mistakes started creeping in."
Katie Walsh (Ballycasey, unseated 29th)
"He was going well. I'd say he didn't appreciate the softer ground."
Paddy Brennan (Saint Are, pulled up before 30th)
"It was just the ground. He jumped well for a circuit and I knew when I went out on the last circuit he didn't want to go really."
Trevor Whelan (The Romford Pele, unseated eighth)
"He was going well. He just got in too close to the Canal Turn and that was it."
Richard Johnson (Kruzhlinin, pulled up before 27th)
"I never got into it and struggled on the ground."
Paul Townend (Boston Bob, pulled up before 22nd)
"I had a good spin off him before Becher's where I pulled him up. The ground was against us."
