Robert Cowell delighted by Palace House-bound Justineo and Spirit Quartz

Justineo and Spirit Quartz are on target for the Pearl Bloodstock Palace House Stakes at Newmarket after showing their wellbeing in a racecourse gallop on the Rowley Mile on Wednesday.
The pair pleased trainer Robert Cowell in the workout and he is looking forward to bringing them back to Headquarters for the Group Three over five furlongs on April 30.
"I took a few up there. A couple have been ready for a bit and I just wanted to give them a change of scenery and get jockeys on board," he said.
"Justineo and Spirit Quartz, who is now back with us, had a nice gallop and are heading for the Palace House.
"Both finished hard held and I'm very pleased with them."
Cowell also worked Toofi, who will go for the major sprint handicaps again. The five-year-old ended the last campaign with a fine fourth in the Ayr Gold Cup, just a length behind the winner Don't Touch.
"He was second in the Stewards' Cup and will be aimed at something similar this year," said the Newmarket trainer.
"Hopefully one of the big handicaps will come his way."
