Un De Sceaux could head back to Britain on his next start with the Celebration Chase at Sandown on the final day of the season earmarked as a potential target.
Last year's Arkle hero tasted his first defeat in 15 completed starts when finishing second behind Sprinter Sacre in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at last month's Cheltenham Festival.
Trainer Willie Mullins has entered him for the Boylesports Champion Chase at the Punchestown Festival, but is considering Sandown's Grade One prize on April 23 as an alternative.
He said: " There's two options for Un De Sceaux, either the Champion Chase at Punchestown or the Celebration Chase at Sandown.
"We may go to England, rather than come here, but we'll have to consider which way Sprinter Sacre is going as well."
